Bank, Fintech and Payment Platform Application Support Terms
Version 1.1
On this page
These supplementary terms cover the support provided for applications to independent banks, fintechs and payment platforms, and apply together with the Terms of Service.
1. Nature of the service
TaxKolay may provide application preparation and process support for independent bank, fintech and payment providers such as Wise, Mercury, Stripe, Payoneer and WorldFirst.
TaxKolay:
- is not a bank;
- is not an electronic money institution;
- is not a payment institution;
- does not provide the customer with a bank account in its own name;
- is not the risk or approval function of the provider concerned.
2. No guarantee of outcome
The third party concerned may:
- reject the application;
- request additional documents;
- require video or selfie verification;
- decline particular countries or sectors;
- apply transfer and transaction limits;
- place funds under temporary review;
- restrict or close the account.
These decisions are subject to that provider's own contract, regulation and risk policy. TaxKolay gives no guarantee of outcome.
3. The customer's information obligations
The customer must accurately describe their business model, website, products and services, transaction volume, source country and customer profile.
TaxKolay cannot be asked to produce information that would mislead a third party or to submit false documents.
4. Account security
Once an account is opened, passwords, multi-factor authentication, recovery details and day-to-day account management are the customer's responsibility.
TaxKolay does not retain the customer's persistent login credentials unless necessary.
5. Later restrictions
Initial approval of an application does not mean the account will never be reviewed again. The provider may request new identity verification, anti-money-laundering or source-of-funds documents.
6. Fees and refunds
Where TaxKolay has prepared the application, provided the required document support or passed the process to the third party, a later rejection by the provider without fault on TaxKolay's part does not by itself require a refund of the service fee.
The consumer's mandatory withdrawal and defective service rights are reserved.
7. Platform terms
The customer must comply with the provider's own contract and its acceptable use, prohibited business and identity verification requirements.
TaxKolay's service may not be used to circumvent or mislead a third party's rules.
8. Governing language
The Turkish version of this document prevails. The English translation is provided for information purposes only; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Turkish version applies.
