This notice explains how the personal data obtained through the contact form on our website is processed, within the scope of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 ("KVKK").

1. Data Controller

Under the KVKK, personal data obtained through the contact form on our website is processed by TaxKolay LLC acting as data controller, in the manner described below.

2. Personal Data Processed

If you complete the contact form, the following personal data may be processed:

  • Name and surname
  • Email address
  • Phone number, if you provide one
  • The contact subject you selected
  • Information you share in the message content
  • The submission date of the form and related technical records

Please do not share personal data, or special categories of personal data, that are not necessary for your enquiry in the message field.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Receiving your contact request
  • Assessing your request
  • Routing your request to the relevant team
  • Answering your questions and requests
  • Contacting you
  • Carrying out communication processes
  • Operating the information technology and communication infrastructure securely

Your personal data is obtained electronically and by automated means, through your completion and submission of the contact form on our website.

Depending on the nature of your request, your personal data is processed on one of the following legal grounds:

  • Where it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, the ground set out in Article 5(2)(c) of the KVKK,
  • For the receipt and assessment of contact requests and the conduct of our communication processes, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed, the legitimate interest of the data controller set out in Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK.

5. Processing and Transfer Abroad

Because our company and the information technology infrastructure we use are located abroad, the personal data obtained through the contact form is processed abroad.

Your personal data may be transferred to the following parties located abroad, for the purposes of receiving, storing, assessing and answering contact requests and operating the IT infrastructure:

  • Cloud computing service providers
  • Server and hosting service providers
  • Database service providers
  • Information technology service providers

Transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK and the applicable data transfer mechanisms.

6. Parties to Whom Data May Be Transferred

Limited to the purposes stated above, your personal data may be shared with:

  • Cloud computing, database and hosting service providers
  • Information technology service providers
  • Communication infrastructure service providers
  • Competent public institutions where legally required

Any such sharing is carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation.

7. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may exercise your rights set out in the legislation by applying to the data controller.

To the extent the conditions are met, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
  • Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed personal data
  • Request erasure or destruction of your personal data within the conditions set out in the Law
  • Request that any correction, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
  • Exercise your other rights set out in the Law

8. Update Information

The effective date and version of this notice are stated at the top of the page.

If a significant change is made to this notice, a new version number is issued. The version in force at the moment you submit the form is recorded with your submission, so that the notice you were shown can be established later.

Previous versions are archived on the system side.

9. Governing language

The Turkish version of this document prevails. The English translation is provided for information purposes only; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Turkish version applies.
