Commercial Electronic Message and Marketing Consent
Version 1.1
On this page
This text explains the consent TaxKolay relies on to send commercial electronic messages, and how you can withdraw it.
1. The basic rule
Buying a service from TaxKolay, creating an account or filling in a contact form does not by itself amount to general consent to advertising or campaign messages.
Replying to someone who submits a "please contact me" form is different from later campaign, discount, new service or marketing messages.
2. Consent by channel
Consent is given channel by channel; choosing one does not cover the others.
E-mail consent
"I would like to receive TaxKolay's commercial electronic messages about products and services, campaigns, offers, announcements and marketing by e-mail."
Message consent
"I would like to receive TaxKolay's commercial electronic messages about products and services, campaigns, offers, announcements and marketing by SMS and/or WhatsApp."
Call consent
"I would like to receive TaxKolay's commercial electronic messages about products and services, campaigns, offers, announcements and marketing by telephone call."
Consent boxes are not pre-ticked and are not made a condition of purchasing or receiving a service.
3. Opting out and changing preferences
You may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge. TaxKolay processes your opt-out request in line with applicable legislation and stops sending commercial electronic messages.
Consent and opt-out records are kept compatible with the Message Management System (İYS) to the extent applicable; consent and opt-out notifications are recorded in İYS within the period set out in legislation.
4. Message content
The commercial electronic messages TaxKolay sends:
- do not conceal the business identity;
- state the commercial nature of the message where this is not otherwise clear;
- provide an easy and free opt-out;
- do not use a sender identity that misleads the user.
5. Service messages
Order status, document requests, payment receipts, deadline reminders, security alerts and other operational communications necessary for the performance of the agreement may be assessed differently from marketing messages, depending on their content and legal conditions.
Unnecessary advertising content is not added to these messages.
6. Governing language
The Turkish version of this document prevails. The English translation is provided for information purposes only; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Turkish version applies.
